GNC-ALFA CJSC was established in 2007. OVIO (GNC-ALFA CJSC), being one of Armenia's leading telecommunications operators, has been providing broadband internet, digital television, online cinema, fixed telephony services, and a range of cloud solutions since 2012.

Among OVIO’s corporate clients are many major enterprises in Armenia, including banks and other financial institutions, government agencies, telecommunications companies, and large international organizations.

In March 2023, the company began implementing the largest and most powerful data center project in Armenia, located in Abovyan, Kotayk Province, which was commercially launched in May 2024.

Considering the project’s strategic importance for the country, the Government of Armenia approved the investment program for the data center, which was included in the Ministry of Economy’s “Infrastructure for Investments” program.

The data center has a capacity of 2 MW, is connected to Armenia's power grid via two independent 35 kV substations, and is equipped with two Mitsubishi diesel generators, ensuring uninterrupted operation. The center is built in compliance with international standards ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, PCI DSS, and Tier III. OVIO’s data center houses 216 server cabinets.

The company offers colocation services and cloud solutions, which are key components of its offerings and aim to transform and modernize Armenia's IT sector.

Since 2023, OVIO has introduced the interactive Wink platform for digital television and online cinema, featuring over 180 TV channels and a library of more than 50,000 movies and series.
